Our 3D sun simulations calculate real shadow patterns from surrounding buildings, giving you accurate sun exposure predictions for any pub, on any day of the year.

Looking for a rooftop with evening sun? A beer garden for a lazy Sunday? You can now filter pubs by the type of outdoor area you're after — beer gardens, rooftops, terraces, waterfront seating, courtyards, pavement, and more.

Best time to visit

Not sure when to head to the pub? We'll tell you. Every pub page now shows the best sun windows — the times of day when each outdoor area gets the most sun. You can see at a glance whether the beer garden peaks at 2pm or the terrace catches the evening sun until 7pm, and plan accordingly.

Filter by what's on tap

We're starting to add tap data so you can find pubs pouring what you actually want to drink. Season Three launches with filters for Jubel and Local Beers, with more breweries and styles coming soon.
