Suggest a Pub, Track Its Status

A real Pubs In The Sun community

We started Pubs In The Sun by adding around 1,000 pubs we knew had great sun — the locals, the rooftops, the obvious beer gardens. That seeded the map.

Today, the majority of pubs we add come from users who suggest them to us. We absolutely love that our collection of great London pubs is now growing from user submissions — every one a tip from someone who actually drinks there.

Two ways to suggest a pub

You don't need an account. The Submit a Pub page is open to anyone — head to it from the menu (or hit the suggest button on the map), search for the pub or drop a pin, and send it through. We'll pick it up from there.

Logged-in suggestions get a status. If you're signed in, your suggestion is linked to your account so we can show you exactly where it is in our pipeline.

Track your suggestions in Favourites

Once you're logged in, every pub you've suggested appears in a row at the top of your Favourites tab — tagged with its current status so you know exactly when each one is ready:

• Processing — we've received it and our pipeline is generating sun data
• Live — your pub is on the map with full sun coverage, ready for everyone to use

You'll also see a running tally of how many pubs you've helped add to Pubs In The Sun. Every live suggestion is a pub the rest of London can now find sun at, because of you.
